Kitchen Remodel

If you're lucky enough to have a mother that keeps things and a husband that know what to do with them, it's worth taking those old things on to your house. Case in point: this was my kitchen when I was a little girl. I loved this little kitchen and am thrilled to pass it down to my children. I can't say my girls because currently my son is the best baker in the house.
Anyhow, I asked Daddy if he could put a coat of paint on it for me and instead I got an all out kitchen remodel! Typical at my house. And not without a plan! So here's the plan for the new kids kitchen. The original kitchen did not include the back piece or sit on a pedestal and was painted red and white.

It's a work in progress so hopefully it'll be done over the weekend! I'll post the completed picture for you.

By the way today is the feast day of St. Basil the Great. Here's an awesome quote from www.americancatholic.org that makes it so much easier to tackle the de-clutter process!

St. Basil said: “The bread which you do not use is the bread of the hungry; the garment hanging in your wardrobe is the garment of him who is naked; the shoes that you do not wear are the shoes of the one who is barefoot; the money that you keep locked away is the money of the poor; the acts of charity that you do not perform are so many injustices that you commit.”

St. Basil the Great thank you for your help while I de-clutter and share. Thanks too for not letting this treasure make it's way onto someone else!

St. Basil, pray for us.
