We don't usually have "friend" birthday parties, but this year Maria really wanted to have a few friends in so we planned a Musical Tea Party. We had a great time decorating but had a hard time finding "music" party supplies. We did find a few table center pieces but on the whole we had to stick with just black and white. We hung some pretty indoor/ outdoor lanterns and filled some polka-dot balloons. We had a red table cloth, pretty black and white dishes. Every dish had a candy red rose lolly that we made, with monogrammed napkins for every girl.
We served pizza cut into keys like on the piano, a salad, and of course cupcakes. Daddy made Maria's six favorite composers. Beethoven, Mozart, Grieg, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, and Scott Joplin.
Each of the girls played their instruments for each other, and played a match up game..music to composer. We had a lot of fun!
